Elena Losseva, an accomplished pianist, brings a dynamic and versatile approach to her music, captivating audiences with expressive performances. During her formative years, she studied with distinguished pianists Peter Longworth and Clark Bryan in Canada, as well as Cécile Ousset in France. In 2013, Elena’s musical journey took an exciting turn when she discovered her love for Argentine tango. Embracing this captivating genre, she played as part of the Ruta 7 ensemble in Toronto and further enriched her skills through participation in the Tango for Musicians at Reed College and the Tanguero Workshop.
Expanding her horizons, Elena collaborated with the Buffalo Tango Orkestra, contributing to events such as the Elmwood Arts Festival and performances at the Maxine & Robert Seller Theatre. A notable highlight was a concert presented by Musical Feast and ArtsCanisius, where she shared the stage with dancers Giovanna Dan and Guillermo Macana in a captivating tango show at the Montante Cultural Centre.
